Getting your portal enquiries into your Mailchimp or other email campaign system couldn't be easier with the use of Zapier.

You will need the following:

• An active Agent Response subscription
• An Agent Response API Token and optional Office ID
• A Zapier account

Getting a API token and optional Office ID

Log into your Agent Response account and go to the API section in the Settings.

Create a new token and give it a name such as 'Zapier integration'. Make sure to copy it somewhere safe as it will not be shown again.

If you have multiple offices and you only wish to import a specific office into Mailchimp, find the relavent Office ID on the same page and make a note of it.

Creating the Zap

In Zapier, create a new Zap and search for 'Agent Response'.

When prompted to choose an account, press 'Connect a new account' and fill in your API token and optionally your Office ID.

Once you have integrated your account, you can proceed with the next step.

Creating the Trigger

There are two lists of data you can pull from Agent Response. Pick the one that suits your needs.

• New Portal Entry - When a lead comes in from a portal, such as Right Move, On The Market, Website Mail, etc.
• Form Completed by Lead - When a lead has completed an Agent Response follow-up form.

Once selected, press continue and move on to the 'Action' section.

Creating the Action

The action step is where you take the data from Agent Response and send it to MailChimp (Or your preferred email campaign system).

For the rest of this article we will assume you are using Mailchimp but other mail campaign systems should work the same.

Select 'Mailchimp' in the list of applications.

In the list of events choose 'Add/Update Subscriber'

Select your Mailchimp account - you may need to add your Mailchimp account if you have not already integrated it.

Press continue.

Select 'Audience' and pick the appropriate audience list.

Under 'Subscriber email' select 'Email'

Under 'Double Opt-In' we recommend 'Yes' to comply with GDPR rules.

Optionally, select 'Tags' > 'Custom' and choose 'Enquiry Type' if you wish to differentiate between Letting, Sales, General, or Valuation enquiries.

We only support 'Name' as a field, so if you wish to import the lead's name, we recommend doing it under 'First Name' in Zapier.

Press continue to complete your integration. Make sure to enable it after saving.
